The short version
- This website uses no cookies and no advertising or analytics tracking.
- If you chat with Archie, our AI assistant, your messages are kept for 30 days so we can improve his answers. Email addresses and phone numbers in messages are masked before they are kept.
- If you choose to leave your contact details, we use them only to reply to you about PLACE. We don't sell or share them.
Archie, our AI assistant
Archie is an AI and can make mistakes. Your messages are processed by Google Cloud (Vertex AI) and Anthropic, the maker of the Claude model Archie runs on. They may process messages outside Australia. Archie's own server is in Sydney. Please don't share sensitive details such as financial, health or identity information in the chat.
Archie only saves an enquiry for our team after you clearly agree to be contacted. That enquiry (your name, email, any phone number you give, and a short summary) is stored securely so we can reply.
Roadmap suggestions and votes
If you suggest a feature on our roadmap page, we keep what you write, your role if you choose one, and your email if you give it, so we can review the idea and reply. Suggestions are private: we only publish a short summary of an idea, never your name or email. When you vote, we keep a scrambled code made from your connection and browser so each person votes once; it can't be turned back into who you are.
If you email hello@placetechnologies.com, we keep your message to reply and for our records.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time: hello@placetechnologies.com. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
